This Cracks Me Up!

ONLY the French would have SOS Repassage!!! That is a phone number you can call if you are sick, tired, or otherwise unable to complete all your household duties. The local SOS Repassage will send someone out to save your freshly-laundered clothing from a fate worse than death: WRINKLES!!!

Don't laugh. I'm serious. They're serious.

The French (in general... ALWAYS in general :)) iron E.V.E.R.Y.T.H.I.N.G. This includes, but is not limited to, sheets, towels (both kitchen and bath varieties), boxers, T-shirts, and jeans.

I think that the money they save by not using clothes dryers must be spent in ironing all those non-tumbled, wrinkled clothes! :)

Thanks for the funny!

Two sides to look at this one: I guess the French way is better than those who wear .E.V.E.R.T.H.I.N.G. as wrinked as possible!! But, who in the world wants starched Boxers!

Thanks again for the chuckle.

IL Dottore (with a few wrinkles)

That is hilarious!
I mean it, I'm serious - ROFLOL!

But I do think Dad has found something he likes about the French - ironed clothes!

That is indeed (seriously) a GOOD quality. Gramma would have liked it, also.

And the funny thing is, it's NOT Puritan...

You are now hired for upon your return to home as the Official Ironing Lady! Congratulations!

Love, Mom

Before I read the comments, I was going to post: "Like Joegi would wear his boxers, if they were ironed!" LOL!
Question: do they use that laundry water spray, instead of starch? And what's their iron like? As well, the board? Do they pile everything a mile high, or do little bits every day? (in other words, do you have Laundry Day, or is it incorporated say, each morning or something?)...

Must be nice to have an SOS line for ironing! If you wanted something like that in the US, people'd send you to a therapist. ;-) And NOT for help with laundry!...

Irons aweigh! :-)

LOL! I'm afraid they don't do long-distance jobs. ;)
